Opener installation & repair — LiftMaster and other leading brands.

New installs, smart upgrades, and honest diagnostics on the opener you already own. If it can be fixed, we fix it.

Why LiftMaster

The professional line, not the shelf line.

We install LiftMaster and other leading opener brands. LiftMaster is the one the professionals reach for — quieter motors, stronger rails, and smart features (myQ app control, alerts, battery backup) that actually get used — and we'll match the opener to your door and your budget, not to what's on a shelf.

Every install includes safety-sensor setup, travel and force adjustment, and a balance check on the door itself — an opener should never be doing a broken spring's job.

Repairs & diagnostics

We fix openers we didn't sell, too.

Remote stopped working, door reverses for no reason, motor hums but nothing moves, keypad forgot who you are — we've seen all of it. We diagnose and repair all brands, and we'll tell you straight when a repair makes sense and when the unit is old enough that new is the smarter spend.

Openers for commercial and industrial doors are their own animal — jackshaft operators, trolley operators, and heavy-cycle units. We handle those as part of our commercial door service.

And it's not just garage doors — we install and repair gate openers too: driveway gates, farm gates, and commercial entrances, swing or slide.

FAQ

Opener questions

Belt drive or chain drive?

Belt drives run quieter — the right choice when there's a bedroom over the garage. Chain drives are the workhorse: rugged, economical, and happy in a detached garage or shop. We'll recommend one based on your door and how you use it, not on what we want to move off a shelf.

Can you fix my existing opener, or do I need a new one?

We diagnose and repair openers of all brands, not just the ones we sell. Often it's a sensor alignment, a worn gear, or a travel-limit adjustment — a repair, not a replacement. When a unit truly is done, we'll show you why before we talk about a new one.

What's a smart opener actually good for?

Opening for a delivery while you're at work, checking whether you remembered to close the door, and getting an alert when it opens at 2 AM. Modern LiftMaster units do this through the myQ app on your phone — no extra hub needed on most models.

Do I need battery backup?

In Minnesota, it's worth serious thought. When a storm takes the power out, a battery-backup opener still lifts the door — which matters when the garage is your main way in and out of the house.

Why won't my door close unless I hold the button?

That's almost always the safety sensors — blocked, nudged out of alignment, or wiring trouble. It's one of the most common calls we get and usually one of the quickest fixes.

Do you work on gate openers too?

Yes — we install and repair gate openers for driveways, farms, and commercial properties. If it swings or slides and a motor moves it, give us a call.
