Two rules until we get there.
Don't force the door. If it stopped, something stopped it — a spring, a cable, a bent track. Muscling it past the problem multiplies the damage and puts you under a lot of moving weight.
Keep people and pets clear. A door with a failed spring or cable can move when nobody touches it. Park the family somewhere else until we've made it safe — it's usually a quick fix once the right parts and the right hands show up.

The door won't close and I have to leave. What do I do?

If the opener is the problem and the door itself is sound, we can often talk you through the manual release so you can close and lock the door until we arrive. If a spring or cable has let go, don't force it — tell us, and we'll treat it as the priority it is.
My car is trapped inside. Can you get me out?
Yes — this is one of the most common emergency calls we run, especially on cold mornings when springs snap. Don't try to lift a dead door by hand; it can weigh a couple hundred pounds with nothing helping you. We'll get the door open safely and then fix what failed.
The door came off its track. Should I close it?
No — stop using it entirely, even the opener. Running a door that's off-track can bend panels and turn a repair into a replacement. Leave it where it is and call.
Do you really answer around the clock?
Emergency repair is 24/7 — a door that won't close is a security problem that doesn't keep office hours. For everything that can wait for daylight, our office runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 5:30.
